How to Whiten Your Teeth

Tooth discoloration naturally occurs over time. However, this process can be increased by factors such as smoking, chewing tobacco, or daily consumption of coffee, tea, soda, or red wine. Establishing and following a routine of brushing and flossing, as recommended by dentists, can slow this process and help your smile stay brighter and healthier longer. But brushing and flossing alone cannot reverse tooth discoloration.

At Levesque Dentistry, we provide professional tooth whitening treatments to patients in Nashua, New Hampshire. Our professional dentists are dedicated to helping patients brighten their smiles and eliminate years of tooth stains.

Why Choose Professional Teeth Whitening?

Whitening strips and specialty toothpaste sold over the counter at your local drug store can help in reversing some discoloration, but the whitening gel they use are not professional-grade.

With professional teeth whitening treatment in our Nashua office, patients are able to see results faster than over-the-counter options. Using Zoom! teeth whitening treatments, we can brighten your smile multiple shades in our office or with take-home treatment.

Teeth Whitening Treatment

For in-office Zoom teeth whitening, we apply a whitening gel which is activated by a specially designed light. Teeth typically become at least six to ten shades whiter with this treatment.

Some patients choose the convenience of at-home whitening trays, which are custom made to fit precisely over your teeth. Patients who select in-office whitening will also receive take-home trays for touch up treatment.

Remember to schedule regular cleanings and brush and floss regularly to help your keep your results longer. Deeper discoloration, or teeth that have been left untreated longer, may require dental veneers or dental bonding.
